Fenix E25 LED Flashlight

The new Fenix E25 AA LED flashlight has single switch technology that makes for easy on/off and choice of 3 brightness levels. What's more, Fenix has designed the E25 flashlight to always turn on in the last brightness level selected before the flashlight was turned off. The Fenix E25 LED flashlight is super economical to operate on 2 each AA batteries - alkaline, primary lithium or Ni-MH rechargeable. With 3 brightness levels, the Fenix E25 gives you just the right amount of light every time. The Fenix E25 is quality engineered and built to exacting standards with a super durable aircraft grade aluminum body and durable Type III hard anodized finish.

Rating:

Very nice. I like being able to change brightness levels with one hand, and that there's NOT an annoying strobe/blink mode. Good throw. I'd prefer a slightly softer hotspot -- as you'd get with an orange-peel instead of a smooth reflector -- but that's a minor point. Overall quality feels solid.

I left my Mini Maglite behind in a hotel room recently. I decided to buy a modern replacement that would be brighter, have longer run time, and still fit in the cargo pocket of my winter coat. The E25 is exactly right for my needs. I am using it with Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA's, which means that it will have great shelf life and will work fine even at very cold temperatures. It gives plenty of light even on low power. The light has excellent quality and performance.
