The Pelican 9410 LED Rechargeable Lantern style flashlight is extremely lightweight and has the latest NiMH battery technology. Pelican 9410 has 2 brightness levels with 741 lumens in high and 300 lumens in low. The push-button switch has a built in battery status indicator to let you know how much power is remaining.

I bought this light in September of 2010. This is one well made heavy duty lantern. I bought it for my home emergency light, it will always be ready, being that it is in a rechargable base. It is very bright (710) lumen. If the power goes out, this is the light you want! It is also very versital, the head can be tilted to light up any object. This lantern has excellent side spill which allows you to see whats beside you, that's important for an emergency light.

This is the brightest "tough" light I have owned. It has the wide spillbeam that is similar to a H.I.D. light...without the need to worry about a bulb. It produces 710 out the front honest lumens (3xthe average high output led 2x123a tactical light) and can be set on the ground while its swivel head lights up the side of a vehicle or building. The power indicator on the on/off switch was a nice touch..so is the very heavy duty shoulder strap. The beam will light up objects easily at 100 yards and decently at 150-200. If you need a serious light, this one is worth the money and seriously woth considering. Glad I bought it.
