Not a bad light. But the high power LED is too much for a set of AAA alkalines in cold weather. I thought this would be the perfect thing for bike riding. It has a spot pattern beam, so I can just look where I want the light. When I think someone's about to cut me off, I just look at them and the LED gets their attention. But when it gets cold out, below 50°F, it won't stay on in full power mode. Bogus. For task lighting, it is actually too bright and focused. This is an outdoors headlamp.
