The new Streamlight ProTac 2AA is now even brighter with 155 lumens in high. This new Streamlight ProTac model has also been updated to include a Ten-Tap Programmable switch to allow selection of three different operating modes -
1. High / Low / Strobe
2. High only
3. Low only

The ProTac 2AA is the perfect flashlight for law enforcement, security, Emergency Medical Service, electrical technicians and general home use. Streamlight's ProTac 2AA is machined from 6000 series aircraft grade aluminum and has an anodized finish for extreme durability. Good for camping with the low mode for moving around a campsite, and the high for checking out what just made that noise waaaay over there. It does put out very well for a 2AA light. It gives a brief warning in the form of a flicker when the batteries are about to die. I've also used it for nighttime running, plenty of range and it's the right size to hold in my hand, not too heavy. As other's have noted, kinda short battery life on high, but cheap batteries. The multimode interface is a little odd and sometimes I end up on strobe when I don't want to be.

I love this light. Fairly small size, easily fits in pocket, and VERY bright spot. Comes with nylon holster. And it runs on 2 inexpensive AA batteries. (Even if you have to change batteries more frequently, they cost 50 cents each, not the $2.50 to $3.00 for the CR123 batteries.) It's a great light.

A great light thats very bright. I dont like the battery life. 1.5 hours, dont forget to turn it off!!!
