The LightHawk lantern incorporates two industry firsts - a lithium ion battery and battery status indicator. The lithium ion battery pack allows the LightHawk lantern to be 33 percent lighter in weight than the competition - a big plus for firefighters whose basic equipment can weigh 65-70 pounds. Lithium ion technology provides a higher and more consistent level of brightness over battery run time. The benefit of lithium ion is that users will experience a higher quality of bright and consistent lighting. The battery status indicator activates when there is 30 minutes of light remaining. This feature compliments the lithium ion technology by monitoring battery status allowing the user to effectively manage their time.

LightHawk lantern also features red and white taillight LEDs strategically configured to offer maximum visibility. LightHawk also has a privoting head so you can direct light where needed.
