This is a great little lantern! It runs quite well on rechargeable batteries. The only change I would make would be to have the brightness level stop at the extreme hi or lo as the button is held so you can actually get the highest or lowest setting when setting the brightness. This is being picky as normally, you will just turn it on or off.
The brightness is plenty good for reading, and doing most activities. you will not be sorry with this purchase.
