This is an excellent light with amazing brightness. Using AAA batteries is a good cost savings. My wife and I both have one of these and use them daily. The battery life is very good. I would have given 5 stars if Dorcy had provided better threads on the tail cap. These are very fine threads, hard to start and easy to cross-thread. Even in the absence of coarser threads like SureFire's I'm going to buy another Dorcy. We like ours a lot!
