This is a tough little light. I am a caver and have two of these on either side of my helmet. Cave conditions are really tough on lights as well as any other equipment. I have yet to have on quit working on me and they have been on my helmet for four years plus. These lights are extremely bright and very compact and light. My center light is a Stenlight but I could cave with just these two. I liked them so much I have several of them and I have given my parents several of them as present and they love them too. They are regulated so brightness never dims until battery life is aqlmost gone. My only complaint is battery life which is about 2 1/2 to 3 hours of continuous use. This should not be a problem for non-cavers. I would have given the light 5 stars if the battery life would have been an hour longer.
