The Energizer e2 Compact Charger CHDCWB-4 has a small footprint with no external cords. Simply slide open the battery tray to insert NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) rechargeable batteries for charging, fold down the integrated AC plug and plug into a wall outlet for charging. Indicator lights will change from blinking to solid to let you know charging is complete. Energizer e2 NiMH batteries are included - 2 ea AA and 2 ea AAA. Charges 2 or 4, AA or AAA NiMH batteries simultaneously.

Charging times for NiMH rechargeable batteries:
• AA with 1300-2000 mAh capacity - 4 to 5 hours estimated charge time
• AA with 2100-2500 mAh capacity - 6.5 hours estimated charge time
• AAA with 850-900 mAh capacity - 2 to 3 hours estimated charge time
Note: batteries will not be damaged if left in the charger for a longer time

Important Note: The Energizer e2 Compact Charger model is a smart charger. When charging batteries, Energizer recommends that batteries charged together be at a similar state of discharge. If the batteries are not at equal levels (some exhausted and some fully charged), the exhausted batteries will typically not receive a full charge.
