The Energizer e2® DUO AA/AAA Charger can be powered from your computer via the attached USB plug or from an AC outlet using the included AC plug adapter. The Energizer e2 Duo charger will charge either 2 AA or 2 AAA NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) batteries. 2 ea Energizer AAA NiMH batteries are included.

Charging times for NiMH rechargeable batteries:
• AA 2500 mAh capacity - 5 hours estimated charge time
• AA 2000 mAh capacity - 4 hours estimated charge time
• AA 1700 mAh capacity - 3.5 hours estimated charge time
• AAA 900 mAh capacity - 2 hours estimated charge time
• AAA 850 mAh capacity - 2 hours estimated charge time
Note: batteries will not be damaged if left in the charger for a longer time

Important Note: The Energizer e2 Duo is a smart charger. If the batteries are not at equal levels of charge (one exhausted and one fully charged), the exhausted battery will typically not receive a full charge. Energizer recommends that both batteries that are paired together in the DUO charger be at an equal state of charge. If a flashlight uses only one battery, when one battery becomes exhausted in the flashlight the second battery can be installed. When both batteries are depleted, they can both be installed in the charger as a pair.
