It works and is made out of quality material but it could be better. When clamped to the handlebar the pressure distorts its shape and the fit between the rotating sections loosens up and then rattles on rough roads. I was afraid that it would make the light bounce all over the road but in actual use it did not. The steps between the two parts of the mounts are also not fine enough to use to use for small side to side aiming adjustments. Will handle AA, CR123 and AAA lights that use 3 AAA's packed in a cylinder from many different brands. Nice touch, they give you extra knobs in case you lose one.
