Fenix L0D Q4 has 5 modes: Primary, Low, Max, Strobe and SOS, so you can choose the mode that best suits your need. Just twist the head for on, off and to scroll through the modes.
Operation of new Fenix L0D with Cree Q4 LED:
Turn the head of the flashlight clockwise for on. A counter clockwise turn will then switch it off. To switch between modes, turn the flashlight on then off. Within 1.5 seconds after being turned off, twist the head on again and it will be switched to the next mode. Sequence of modes: Primary > Low > Max > Strobe > SOS.
