The Fenix PD20 with Cree XP-E (R2) LED has a knurled body design for a sure grip and a handy pocket clip. The PD20 has a pushbutton tail switch and is small and extremely bright - only 3.1" long with 190 lumens in Turbo mode. The Fenix PD20 LED flashlight has a total of 4 brightness levels plus SOS and disorienting strobe.

Operation of Fenix PD20 LED Flashlight:
Fully press the tailswitch for on. Then, slightly twist the bezel to select General Mode or Turbo Mode. A soft press of the tail switch anytime while the PD20 flashlight is on will change the output within a mode.

I admit it: I'm a bit of a flashlight "junkie" [collector], and I love the evolution I've seen since the days when the Eveready Penlight was as hip as it got.

This Fenix is one of my favorite lights. I have it on my belt or in a pocket every day, and because of its small form-factor and light weight, I never notice it's there until I need it.

When I'm working alone in tight spaces I'll often hold the PD20 in my mouth. It's easy to do, just don't burn yourself with using it this way on high power.

The light DOES get hot if left on high or turbo for more than several seconds. That would be my only criticism, but for the power you get, I think it's a fair trade.

Also, living in a bit city and working late, I like having the strobe available for an emergency.

This and the Fenix LD01 should be in every technician's toolbox.

Great Light. Improved version of the P2D. The spot on the PD20 is tighter and throws a little better. I liked the holster on the older version better.
