Note: If the Lightman light is intended for emergency use and will probably be stored for months or years, lithium AA batteries are ideal. Lithium batteries have a ten year shelf life, withstand temperature extremes, weigh less and as a bonus provide about 25 percent longer run time than alkaline in this application.
