The MiniStar2-UV replaces the standard incandescent bulb with a 1 Watt, LED-powered ultraviolet light source. The product works with Mag Instruments MiniMag 2AA Xenon flashlights. The product combines the works brightest 395nm LED with the TerraLux LED Light Engine Technology yielding a long battery life and achieving a constant brightness over a wide range of battery conditions. The included reflector allows the UV light to be focused to a small spot increasing light to the specimen. The MiniStar2-UV will work in 3 and 4 cell Maglites when used with the BA-1 Bulb Adapter.
