  N. R. from Bermuda Dunes, CA gives it a 5 and says.. Forgot to add that the Round box the light comes in is a work of art.
At is equal to a box from Tiffany & Co., or a high quality watch, and even the wonderful boxes the presidential tie bars and cufflinks come in when you meet the President in the Oval Office.
First class all the way!
SAVE THEM!!! N. R. from Bermuda Dunes, CA gives it a 5 and says.. Love this little custom light! Perfect size for pocket or neck carry. And, for a small back up light, it has wonderful power, along with well thought light levels.
Mine is with me daily as a back up to my larger tactical light. I added a smaller ring 35 mm McGizmo clip, and it can then be clipped to pants pockets, lanyards, inside tux suit pockets.
I have a hot spare of this in the safe, I like it that much.
One the best lights ever made, and a true timeless classic. K. from Maryland gives it a 5 and says.. I bought one of these a while ago and I am just getting around to posting my review. In short, this is a great flashlight. I have mine on a dog tag chain around my neck so it is always with me. I am on my third battery in what has been over a year of ownership and constant use. It went through a full wash cycle (washer and dryer) with no damage whatsoever!! Its small, its bright and its one of those must have items. It is so easy to carry and you never know when you will need a flashlight. G. i. P. from phila. Pa gives it a 5 and says.. After seeing some favorable reviews on this CR2 based light, I decided to take the plunge and see what all the fuss was about. After using the light since 12/12/08, I have formed some lasting opinions.
When I opened the packaging, there was a small, black cylinder--hmmm pretty snmall for a light, but that's what a CR2 format is all about. In my haste, I didn't realize that the cylinder was like a cigar tube, holding the Aeon inside!. I laughed outloud when I saw how small this light is.
At first, I was dubious about its size, I thought it would be fiddly to hold and operate--boy was I wrong--it is supremely easy to use.
The QC and build quality is astonishing, smooth to turn, well lubed out of the box, no dust under the lens, perfect reflector--well stipled, great machining on the knurling/threading. The light tailstands, even with a lanyard attached.
Operation is simple--a twist to low, more twist to high. Low is just about perfect for reading, out door nighttime walking, looking under the bed, searching the closets, etc...it is great for EDC. High is silly bright for a light this size. It PUNCHES through the darkness easily 75-100' The beam is almost flawless (in high and low), and has nice white tint.
I have used this light on a daily basis for the uses above, just for giggles, to charge my watch and other GITD stuff. My kids have used it in the dark to get from the car to the house.
Here is the kicker...After almost 4 MONTHS of daily use, in both low and high---I am stll on the ORIGINAL battery.
HOME RUN...this light has made me re-evaluate all my others.
5 stars
M. D. from NY City gives it a 3 and says.. I bought two of these and both have now exhibited the same problem. They just won't settle on the low power setting. I've tried new batteries, I've tried going from off to low, from off to high to low... nothing works. I can get the low setting for about a minute or two and then it turns off as soon as the light is jostled or moved even a bit. Guess I'll contact the mfr. If my lights get fixed, I'll add two stars. To have this occur to TWO models, purchased almost one year apart is not coincidence. (And yes, I paid $195 each). See All Reviews
