The SureFire P60L is no longer available. This item is replaced by the new SureFire KX4. The SureFire P60L is an extended-runtime LED assembly (flashlight not incuded) with a precision micro-textured reflector that creates a bright, flawless beam - without spots, rings, or other defects. The P60L converts any SureFire flashlight that uses a P60, P61, P90, or P91 incandescent lamp into a longer-running and (when replacing a P60) higher-output LED flashlight. The SureFire P60L produces 80 lumens of tactical-level light (enough to temporarily disable an aggressor's night-adapted vision), and continues generating useful light for over nine hours. Actual runtime is dependent upon which flashlight model the P60L is used in, as well as how many batteries (two or three) are used to power the flashlight. And because the SureFire P60L is solid state, there's no filament to burn out or break, so it does not need to be periodically replaced, like an incandescent lamp.
