Petzl Tikka XP® 2 LED headlamp has a high output white LED with 2 brightness levels (60 lumens high) plus flashing and a red LED (single brightness steady or flashing) to preserve night vision . The Tikka XP 2 has an integrated flip-up lens to change the white light output from a beam to diffused area lighting. Petzl Tikka XP 2 also has an S.O.S. whistle integrated into the headstrap clip. The Tikka XP 2 LED headlamp will run for 80 hours in high and up to 160 hours in low (using white LED) and is powered by 3 ea AAA batteries, either alkaline or lithium. (Lithium batteries are lighter in weight and perform better in cold temperatures.)
