The Petzl Ultra is a high performance LED headlamp that gives you 3 brightness levels with up to 350 lumens of white light. Petzl Ultra is designed for use in all weather conditions and is equipped with a thermal regulation system to prevent the LED from overheating. A thermostat analyzes the temperature and regulates the power to preserve the LED*. When the battery is nearly discharged, the light output becomes dim. The Ultra automatically switches to RESERVE mode (indicated by blinking before the light dims). At the maximum power level setting, the RESERVE mode gives you 30 minutes of additional light (at reduced brightness).
Brightness levels for Petzl Ultra LED headlamp Accu 2 (2-cell model):
• maximum - runs for 1.5 hours, shines for up to 390 feet, 30 minutes of reserve run time
• optimum - runs for 4.75 hours, shines for up to 260 feet, 20 minutes of reserve run time
