The Princeton Tec Amp 4.0 LED flashlight gives you a choice of 2 brightness modes with up to 150 hours of run time on 4 AA batteries. This flashlight includes AA alkaline batteries but can also be powered by AA lithium, rechargeable AA NiCad or rechargeable AA NiMH batteries.
Switch Operation for Princeton Tec AMP 4.0 LED Flashlight:
A quick press of the button will turn the light on in high mode. To change from high to low, press the button again. You can switch between the two modes by pressing the switch. Press and hold the switch (about 2 seconds) to turn off.

Note: The instruction sheet on the Amp 4.0 states that the runtime on high is longer than the runtime on low. The runtime on high includes the regulated and unregulated runtimes.
