Princeton Tec Scout LED headlamp is powered by 4 lithium coin cell batteries and boasts Princeton Tec's multi function electronically controlled switch systems that offers three modes of light output and two blinking/signaling modes. Bright white illumination originates from two high output LED's that are impact resistant and never require replacement.

The multifunctional hinged lamp housing directs light where you need it, detaching quickly from its lightweight head strap for use on your cap, backpack strap, belt or other gear.

The high power mode is selected by pressing and releasing the button. Other modes can be selected by pressing and releasing the button within 1.5 seconds of the prior button press. Regardless of the operating mode selected, the Scout will turn off with one button press if more than two seconds have elapsed since the previous button press.

The batteries are replaced by removing one screw and popping the case open. The unit is made in the USA.
