The Responder 3C runs on 3 C cell batteries. It has been built to survive a 30 foot drop. It incorporates a on/off pushbutton switch at the base of the light for easy one hand operation. Solidly built light that operates on standard "C" cells. Long run time and long life bulb that's unlikely to fail you when you need it most. Very bright tight spot beam. Safety ratings and water and drop resistance a great plus. A very good light for the money, especially given the great service from Brightguy!
The only real negatives that keep this from being a 5 star rated product are the poorly thought out belt clip and attachment ring. They can make handling a bit awkward at times.
