The Streamlight SL-20XP / LED rechargeable flashlight offers the combination of a super bright halogen lamp with the superior run-time of LED's. Choose between the halogen lamp and LED's via a dual switch control.... each function has its own push button on/off switch. The 3 LED's on the Streamlight SL-20XP/LED flashlight will give you over 40 hours of run-time. The battery will support a minimum of 1 hour of LED light after the incandescent (main halogen bulb) runs out. The LEDs make the light ideal for directing traffic (with optional safety / traffic wand), navigating a cockpit, or to light a path. The halogen lamp give you power for longer range lighting needs.

Includes Power Failure Feature- when light is in charger in the on position; it will come on automatically during power failure.

If you own one of this model and it's over a year old, please contact Streamlight about doing a charger and switch update. With this update the flashlight can have the LEDs switched on and when placed in the charging sleeve they go out but in case of a power failure they come on. Unless you have or buy the latest version you may not get this feature. In addition there have been other improvements. Streamlight wants you to have the best and will provide the updating for free so give them a call. BrightGuy can help with this if needed. Now if only there was a powerful LED upgrade for the main halogen lamp, this would really be some flashlight. For now you may want to checkout the Streamlight Stinger LED HP (high performance) which is a new model. It's a real blaster and it's compact too.
