I have used this light almost every night for the past 5 years. The light gives off a super beam that penetrates rain, fog, snow and other conditions. After about three years, I had to send it back to Streamlight, which replaced the switch under warranty (they also replaced the lens which had some minor scratches free of charge). I also destroyed a battery when I dropped it hard. My only issue with the light is that the bulbs don't last that long and can't take a hard impact. The head of the light also gets hot after prolonged use. I also recommend the Stinger C4 LED, which is smaller and gives off just about as much usable light with longer battery life a bulb that (supposedly) never needs replacement.

Awesome flashlight. I've owned this since 2-22-2004. The light output is great. Police officers, neighbors and friends have commented how bright this is. I strongly suggest this light. The flash light empty is VERY light. The ONLY negative thing I have to say about the light is that the bulb can get very hot and melt/destroy your lens. So check it often if its a warm night outside and if you run the light for long periods.
