Lockout Tailcap:
The G2 LED has SureFire's patented lockout tailcap. The lockout position disables the pushbutton switch and prevents accidental light activation during storage or transportation. From the momentary-on position, rotate the tailcap approximately 1.5 turns counterclockwise to lock the light in the "off" position.

Maintentance of SureFire G2 LED:
Periodically clean and lubricate threads with clean cloth and apply a thin coat of non-migrating silicone-based lubricant to rubber O-rings. Do NOT use petroleum based lubricants on SureFire O-rings. After prolonged exposure to moisture, the LED assembly and batteries should be removed, inspected and dried if necessary. Do NOT touch the reflector.
