SureFire L1 LumaMax is a compact, pocket-sized LED flashlight with dual output modes (high and low). This model L1 features a high output Cree brand LED - 65 lumens on high and 10 lumens on low.
The SureFire L1's digitally controlled switch allows you to choose either a low-output beam for close-up work or a high-output beam for full power applications. Simply depress the tailcap switch halfway for the low beam, continue depressing to activate the high beam. Twist the tailcap for constant light on either beam setting.
The SureFire L1 LumaMax LED flashlight also features digital current regulation circuitry to match the LED's current requirements with the battery's output to maintain a more consistent level of light output for the useable life of the batteries (as opposed to unregulated flashlights, which are subject to a steady decline in light intensity beginning shortly after activation).
