Excellent hearing protection for shooting- they're quite comfortable and your ears aren't plugged like with foam earplugs. There are little plugs (that do give you the plugged-up feeling) which you can insert for louder situations. I had the previous version (the EP3) in medium and over a six month period they shrunk or compressed or something, so I got the large EP4's and they still seal up well after a year...
