The X990 Xenon HID is a super bright versatile light. The head of the X990 articulates from 90 to 180 degrees so it can be handled like a pistol grip light or regular flashlight. The HID lamp produces a blinding beam that reaches full power in just a few seconds. The adjustable focus produces a clean broad beam for illuminating large areas. The X990 Xenon HID light is rated at 3200 lumens and 7 million candlepower. The light head is made of Die-Cast Aluminum with a hi tech polymer handle & base. The run time on each of the Ni-MH batteries is 70 minutes and they can be recharged in 1 hour. The X990 come complete with AC charge cord, 2 Ni-MH batteries, shoulder strap, and molded plastic carrying case. One year warranty.

NiMH Battery Care for the X990:
- Do not leave the battery plugged into the charger all the time. Charge the battery when it shows a green light. When not charging, unplug the charger from the battery as well as from the wall outlet.
- Do not store in a hot environment. Optimum storage temp is 70 degrees F or lower. NiMH batteries will drain in hot storage; and over time, this will ruin the cells.
- If the battery has been out of use for a prolonged period of time you can charge it in the following manner to help get the battery back to full charge: Charge the unit until it turns the LED green, let it cool off about 5 hours, recharge it again until it turns the LED green again. This procedure will revive the cells and get the battery back to a better run time.
- It it is best to let the flashlight run the battery down and then recharge it. Do not drain the battery with an alternate load to completely drain the unit and then charge it. This is hard on the battery and is not recommended.

Note: If the X990 strobes you need to turn the light off and charge the battery.
