Streamlight Stylus Pro Flashlight Review*

• Fit and finish are excellent. An O ring seal is present on the tailcap. Lens is slightly recessed and that should provide some protection from scratches and damage.

• For a penlight, the Streamlight Stylus Pro feels good in your hand. Its size is a perfect fit for shirt pockets. Switch feel is a very subjective item, but I like the way this forward clicky operates. Very easy to depress for momentary. Requires a firmer press to click and lock in the "on" position with with good audible feedback to tell you that you have in fact "Clicked" it on or off.

• Output is in the form of a very nice hot spot that throws surprisingly far for a small flashlight. Easily throws 50 feet with a dimmer but useable side spill. Tint is white with just a hint of blue around the corona. You'll only see that hint of blue when white wall hunting. It is not visible during normal use. Despite the long throw, the output very useable at close distances as well although it is bright enough to spoil night vision when used at close range.

• The Stylus Pro is an excellent choice as a back up light or for carry when dressed in more formal attire. When clipped on a shirt pocket most folks will think it is a pen and will not realize it is a flashlight. It can easily be concealed in an interior coat pocket for the suit and tie crowd.
