When choosing a flashlight for hunting, be sure to consider the lumen output along with beam range. A flashlight with a lumen output of about 1,000 lumens along with a beam range of about 1,000 feet will give you sufficient light for hunting. A flashlight will multiple brightness levels is also a good choice and gives you more versatility. This allows you to lower the brightness level for close-up tasks.
