Intrinsically Safe

Intrinsically safe flashlights, headlamps and work lights are approved for use in hazardous environments. Intrinsic safety is defined as an ignitable substance is likely to exist during normal operating conditions. Ignitable substances are further divided by Class as follows: Class I is flammable gases, vapors or liquids; Class II is combustible dusts; Class III is ignitable fibers and flyings.
